Harleen is a physiotherapist that got her Bachelor’s of Science from UBC and went on to get her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Melbourne University.
She has been working in the WhiteRock community since 2018. She currently specializes in orthopaedic conditions including pre & post-surgical rehabilitation, sports related injuries, any musculoskeletal pain and conditions. Additionally, Harleen has recently specialized as a vestibular physiotherapist and treats conditions such as vertigo and dizziness.
In her spare time Harleen enjoys yoga and meditation.

I did my Bachelor in physiotherapy from Baba Farid University of health sciences, India. I have 10 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, neurological, work place injuries, cerebral palsy and post surgical rehabilitation.

My area of expertise is hand on approach, soft tissue manipulation, exercise prescription and educating my patients. My focus is not just treating the patients but making them understand their body as a whole system, to recover and prevent future problems.

I believe in enjoying life in whatever phase you are, love playing cricket, table tennis, eating good food, long drives during night and being with family.

Nayul Kim R.TCM.P


Nayul is a registered acupuncturist. She has earned her degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, after a rigorous five-year program both in the classroom and under clinical supervision as an intern, she practiced in China.

Nayul specializes in treating all types of acute and chronic pain often associated with soft tissue damage also in women health and mental health such as PMS, period pain, insomnia and anxiety disorder.

She incorporate various TCM diagnostic approaches and uses acupuncture, cupping, tuina and therapeutic heat to relieve physical and emotional blockages in the body. In addition, she believes TCM has a strong focus on prevention and is beneficial in the maintenance of good health.

Nayul also specializes in Mei Zen/Cosmetic Acupuncure. Mei Zen literally means “beautiful person” in Chinese. Gurman Mangat, DPT, Bsc.


Gurman graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a minor in Biology and then decided to complete her Doctorate of Physiotherapy in Melbourne, Australia. She has now been working as a physiotherapist in the lower mainland since 2016, and is loving every bit of it! She is well-equipped in treating musculoskeletal conditions, such as back and neck pain, acute and chronic injuries, pre and post-surgical rehabilitation, and pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain. She also runs exercise sessions to improve overall health and fitness. She is certified in Functional Dry Needling I and II. In her spare time, Gurman likes to do all travel, play with her puppies and spend time with her friends and family.

Sheeja was born and raised in India. Sheeja has a real passion for Massage Therapy. She has many years of experience in rehabilitation and pain management. She customizes her massages to your individual needs and has a very caring professional presence. On her spare time she likes to be with her family.

Daiya Sabharwal

Daiya is a student at Langara College, in a Registered Massage Therapy program. Her main goal is to learn all she can and give her clients soothing and relaxation massages. In her spare time, Daiya is studying for classes or working out.

Nafeez Syed, BPT, MPT, (Ph.D.)


Nafeez Syed holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Physiotherapy from India and is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC. He began his career as a Physiotherapist in 2003 and has upgraded himself constantly, both in his qualifications and skill sets. 

Nafeez is certified in Gunn Intra Muscular Stimulation (IMS) and has completed all the 4-levels needed for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) certification from Robin McKenzie Institute, Canada. Alongside, advanced trainings in Myofascial mobilization and Mulligan mobilization of cervical spine and upper extremities, he is specialized in treatment of spinal and other joint problems. He is also certified by American Institute of Balance in Vestibular rehabilitation & Concussion, and is a certified therapist in Radial Shockwave and LASER therapies for various musculoskeletal problems.  Low back pain is Nafeez’s key area of interest as reflected from his large clientele and research publication record.

Jigyasa graduated from Manipal university, India and began her career as a physiotherapist in the year 2000. Over the past 20 years she has vast clinical experience in musculoskeletal, neurological conditions, postural dysfunction, pregnancy related disorders, work place injuries and post-surgical clients.

She strongly believes in creating an individualized support plan based on your unique needs and goals. Her sessions include both manual therapy alongside therapeutic exercises that will help you to continue doing the activities you love.

She is a very passionate, energetic physiotherapist who loves to problem solve and help her clients be the best version of themselves.

In her spare time, she enjoys doing Yoga, Meditation and going for long walks in the countryside. She strongly believes in living an active and balanced lifestyle.

Registered Massage Therapist

Shruti in her childhood enjoyed providing massages to her family and friends. She then went on to become an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer and got busy in her career. She always felt empty inside without being able to heel and help people through massages.

After moving to Canada, Shruti decided to pursue her passion and started working in a spa. She then decided to become an RMT so that she can treat people with their injuries and pain. She went to college and graduated as RMT with honours from Alberta College of Massage Therapy and is a good standing RMT with College of Massage Therapy BC (CMTBC).

Shruti surpassed her requirements in college and worked with clients in Banff and Canmore in Alberta and also in Lower Mainland in BC. Shruti has worked in different setting of spas in Alberta and BC, where she has seen diverse clientele. Her experience at school and work have given Shruti the ability and knowledge to work with various clients to identify and address their treatment goals.

Shruti’s technique is very thorough and can be adapted to each client’s needs whether it be deep tissues massage, relaxation, trigger point therapy, fascial techniques and so on. She strives to provide a therapeutic massage in a relaxing, comfortable environment so her clients can have a little bit of “me” time.

Shruti is passionate about learning new skills and integrating them into her practice to become a successful health care practitioner.
